Ceratosaurus ("horned lizard") was a large predatory theropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period, found in the Morrison Formation of North America, and Portugal. It's characterized by the blade-like horn on its snout.
Ceratosaurus first made its appearance in "Bloodiest Battle", alongside other Jurassic dinosaurs, and later in "Hunter Becomes Hunted". It also had a cameo appearance in "Cannibal Dinosaur" and "Biggest Killers" episodes, because it was the ancestor of Majungasaurus and its cousins and was mentioned as such.
In the films a ceratosaurus was hunting for food. It comes across a stegosaurus with a juvenile stuck in the mud. The dino begin to eat the juvenile stegosaurus alive until three allosauruses arrived at the sink holes to eat the stegosauruses. The ceratosaurus fought back for its prey but was killed by being launched into the air and breaking its spine by one of the allosauruses

Description
Ceratosaurus stood 13 feet tall, measured 20 feet (6.1 meters) long, and weighed 1.5 to 2 tons. It had a distinctive horn (actually an expanded nasal crest) on its snout and two smaller ones on its brow--its name means horned lizard--and a row of bony plates down the middle of its back. Another horned meat-eating dinosaur was Carnotaurus sastrei, a relative of Majungasaurus and probably the most famous of the abelisaurid family and a possible descendant of Ceratosaurus.
Fighting style
Being about half the size of its contemporary rival Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus was still a fierce meat-eating hunter. Its four-fingered hands (primitive for theropods) ended in sharp claws and it killed its prey with large blade-like teeth. However, it was an ambush predator and wasn't normally a dinosaur that would engage in a fight. Despite this, Ceratosaurus would fight another dinosaur depending on circumstances. Additionally, rather than packs like most predatory dinosaurs, Ceratosaurus hunted in pairs.
Diet
Ceratosaurus may have hunted in groups and evidence suggests that it competed with Allosaurus for prey, including herbivores such as iguanodonts, stegosaurs and even the giant sauropods.
