Jurassic Fight Club is a palentology-based documentary series that chronicles battles between dinosaurs based on fossilized evidence. The series first premiered July 29, 2008 and ran for a single season of 12 episodes. The show was hosted by George Blasing (aka Dinosaur George), a self-taught paleontologist and dinosaur expert.
Summary[]
Scientists study the battles of prehistoric creatures, particularly dinosaurs, before they went extinct. Each episode features a forensic-styled breakdown of a prehistoric battle. Based on fossil evidence and paleontologist analysis, a CGI rendering of the battle, based on the evidence and the imagination of George Blasing (the show's host) is the final act of each episode. In most cases, the battles are based on actual fossil finds, although in several episodes scientists simply pit two contemporaneous prehistoric animals against each other in a hypothetical fight.
